Each box includes eight 10-yard skeins. Seven skeins are naturally dyed in the rainbow colors shown and one skein is undyed.
Floss is:
- 100% silk
- Peace silk, meaning no silkworms were harmed in its making
- naturally dyed
- washable, permanent colors
- 20/2 weight, similar to size 5 cotton perle thread
This silk embroidery floss was hand dyed by myself using a variety of natural dyes, many that I grow or gather myself. Most colors are semi-solid, meaning there is some subtle color variation.
